The Arc has been advocating for people with disabilities since the early 1950's.  It is one of the most longstanding national organizations assisting people with disabilities to become active and involved citizens in their community.

There are over 140,000 members nationwide.

To stay up on issues relating to disabilities, become a member of a local Arc closest to your home.   In Indiana, call 1-800-382-9100.  Dues are normally $15.00 per year. With the membership, you will receive newsletters from the local, state and national Arc and are eligible for other member benefits as well.
